Shadowkeep is the worse thing ever, please tell me it gets better

Jumping back into the game, got all expansions, and...damn this sucks. I mean truly horrible quests, I think am done with the SK story? I Cant even tell its that bad, but am at a point where one quest is just Re-do a story quest? ....10/10 writing
now It wants me to "record screams" and crap like that, which is just the 10th time its repackaged the same quest....this is terrible.

I just want to experence all the content I missed, but This is the worse. Half the quests I had to watch youtube videos cause they are just hidden item trash quests that I don't think belong in a looter shooter, not to mention 99.9% of the loot is pointless cause am way over-powered for the whole damn expanision.

I hate this...a lot...the original D2 story mode was amazing, and to think it got valted to make room for this trash is depressing.

so does this get better? I got all the expansions up to The Witch Queen,

also Is there any reason to even do these trash quests? I think I Read one gives an exotic rocket launcher which is w/e

Shadowkeep is the worst expansion in the franchise so yes it gets better

The rocket launcher's (Deathbringer) actually pretty cool along with the story that comes along with the quest chain, but Shadowkeep stuff was heavily involved in the last Season's story. Also, wanna point out that the quests like "get 50 Hand Cannon kills, find an item in the ass-end of nowhere, and do something else" are pretty much only for the weapon awarded from the quest and not much else. Once you get that item, though, if you end up redoing the quest because you picked it up from doing a Nightmare Hunt or something all you need is the non-item stuff. Just consider them free Shards or something, since once you get the weapons in Collections the quests are just another thing to do.

The armor, on the other hand, is helpful for Nightmare Hunts, which are another thing to do when you're bored and have some Banshee bounties to work on; if you're a completionist like me, you gotta do a few of them just to get the handful of Essences that only drop from those. :P

If you're playing with the intention of learning the plot (like me) then you should know that Shadowkeep is like 2-3 hours long by itself. It's SUPPOSED to be a story you experience along with episodic Seasons like a show, but these Seasons expire and the cut-scenes with them.

And yes, Shadowkeep is the worse one. I JUST finished Beyond Light and it is better, sure, but it's still missing its Seasons too. I'm relatively satisfied with just the short summaries in the Directory (under Destinations, there's a timeline in the top right you can click), but yeah... We've seriously missed out on a lot of the story (at least first-hand experience).

With the announcement of Lightfall, I've decided to hop back in since it looks cool and hot and sexy and appealing and alluring. Witch Queen is currently the best expansion released for Destiny 2 by consensus.

I'm sorry Zombie. If we really like the game and want the plot, we just gotta play what little bit we can and learn the rest of the story from the Seasons through videos.

So what am doing now is just side quests for weapons? I assume, am trying to do all the shadow keep quests, but I reached a point where I just don't like them, and I hate that whole map.
As far as story? I want to do all the story stuff, but at the same time. As the main story is missing and I don't even remember it well, its not a huge deal.
I just can't tell if am done with SK , and am wasting my time on lower level gear or not.
the pacing is really unfriendly to new/returning players.
the hud is just a mess of god knows what.
I really do wish they just stream-lined the whole process, no Idea what they where thinking with the mess am looking at.

If you reached the part where you meet a copy of yourself and then talk to Eris, Zavala, and Ikora, you can just move on to the Beyond Light campaign now.

But the real worst expansion is the 30th anniversary. $25 for 1 dungeon and less loot than a season pass is a swindle

Well, I liked the story around of the Moon's creepy atmosphere and backgrpundbof Eris Morn. And the season of arrival and it's finalle was one of the greatest season for me. I also miss those SK exclusive strikes especually the fastering core, which is now vaulted.

I like the look of it, and the horror feel. but the quests suck. its just the same thing over and over. and I 100 percent HATE find the item quests (The ones not marked) I had to follow a youtube guide to find that one, that alone left the whole expansion sour to me. I spent over 2 hours just running around in the dark. I hated every second of it.
that's fine in other types of games. but not this, did not feel right at all.
