Season 17 Introductory quest help!

I had a little break today, so I thought I'd log in and check my inventory, etc.
When I logged in, it dumped me directly into cut scenes and the intro quest for season 17.
I didn't have time for a quest of indeterminate length since I had to pick up my kids from the bus stop ten minutes later. They should at least give you the option of playing the quest now or doing something else! I paused and came back to find that I was kicked to the title screen and I see no way to do the quest now.

Who made this idiotic design choice?

I suspect there must be a way to do the quest, but I don't see anything new in my quests tab or any other indications.
Does anyone know how I can do this quest or did I miss my one and only shot?

No idea if will work

1. Restart game see if it kicks in
2. Go to the helm see if that triggers it
3. Maybe see if the leviathan is selectable on the moon?

If nothing works I would suggest going to the official Bungie forums and opening a help thread there. Better visibility

The introduction quest should still be on the moon if not finished.

I got it to work by going to Leviathan on the moon and selecting the quest "Midas" something or another.
Anyway, thank you guys so much. I still don't like that they dump you right into a twenty minute quest without warning or respect for your real life, but now I'm able to continue.
