Jump Boost?

okay I was just playing Vanguard mission with some random players and there was this player that jumped very far to avoid one of the platforming sections (like he skipped the whole platforming section before you get to the drill with only 1 jump) on Nessus....Is there a gear that has this or maybe something else? I am not a long time player and I am genuinely curious to how he did that

Some sword techs and melee abilities allow you to do that, there are guides on youtube

I think there is a type of exotic boots that can do that. And also if you put stats into mobility.

I've only been playing since Witch Queen came out, still on the new side. I got an exotic leg armor "Lion Ramparts" I think it's called for Titan class. I can do what you just described. Super hang time. I have this problem that I like them so much I haven't tried anything else since finding them. Love to find something similar for warlock if such a part exists :)

If they were a hunter they were probably using Stompees. Pretty much every hunter main has them in their inventory so they can swap to them and make platforming super easy.
