How to chain stylish executioner melees?
I have looked up everything i can but i can't for the life of me figure out exactly what i am doing wrong. At seemingly random melee killing an enemy when SE is up just won't make me return to invis (knifing and then killing an enemy that does not die in one hit always works). in all the examples i read about it sounds simple, wait out the 2 second "too stylish" debuff and then you are free to chain melee a random grunt to loop invis but it just doesnt seem to work no matter how much i experiment with different setups its driving me crazy.

https://youtu.be/Hdo4-udb1ME this video seems so straight forward but i can't replicate it somehow. Any Insight on how to chain SE that i may not know about? It doesnt matter how obvious it may be because i am apparently missing something.

stylish executioner grants your first melee while invis a weaken debuff. Chain melee should be possible without any other setting.

from this I can only guess latency issues.

Debuff > kill > invis > chain. Going invis first won't apply SE.

It can stop working occasionally because of servers/latency like with HP rollback. The target dies from melee damage, but the game doesn't count debuff and you don't get SE.

https://youtu.be/CO1VQeL07qc I have put together a few examples i gathered today of my problem, i tried to keep it short at 1:30 and would very much appreciate it if either of you could take a quick look to see if i am doing something wrong or if it is just extremely frequent ping issues.

You did nothing wrong. HP rollback was mostly server side issue, so it's not necessarily your latency.

Is there any way to fix this or maybe a method to play around it/ lower the risk of it happening at the worst moments? because being caught out in the open when i counted on remaining invis has cost me many solo runs of higher level content so being able to at least make it more consistent would be a big deal for me.

There's no way around outside of swapping to Trapper's Ambush or changing your playstyle a bit. SE still works fine with debuffs, only melee 1HKO might be a problem. Vanishing Step refreshes the Invisibility if it's longer than 5s. i.e. if you use it during invis from the other source, like SE, you get full duration back. Spec into Mobility and you should have enough invis uptime between VS, finisher and Omni or Graviton to solo any content.

Assassin's Cowl can work well with Solar Knife Trick and Arc Combination Blow (your regular melee counts as ability when you have CB dmg buff) to chain invis.

thanks a lot for all the ideas and taking the time to help. funnily enough i have actually cycled my build through almost all of these the last 100 or so hours while going crazy from the 1HKO inconsistency (except with revenant shurikan spam instead of solar knife). Now I can start just enjoying and refining those playstyles, without constantly having the frustration of SE acting weird nagging at the back of my head. Thank you!
