Best hunter subclass for Raids?
My friends say that arc is best because of the damage that the super does but I think that buffing allies with radiant in solar or the damage buff from void supers is better. Which is it?

Buffing allies with solar is more of a warlock job, well of radiance and all that. As for debuffs, that's perfectly handled by divinity now. So yeah, I'd say the ark hunter is the best and most comfortable right now, in terms of damage and survivability.

If your teammates can't aim, you can't go wrong with void/shadow shot. Making everything a precision shot saves on people's inability to aim correctly.

it depends on the encounter, your role, shields and whether you need more add clear or survivability.

Solar BB does the same damage in less time. Both arc and solar don't have much utility during DPS phase. Well/Bubble will override Radiant, reload buff from solar might be useful when titans forget about the barricade and warlocks about luna, healing grenades can save someone too. Void is nice without Divinity. Stasis can be used for Well generation for Reed users.

Divinity creates crit spot, Tether doesn't, Both apply 30% debuff.

gathering storm if no one in your party is using it or GG with star eater scales.

If you're really into helping the team stay alive; Renewal Grasps enhance Stasis grenade bubbles which protect you and your allies inside increasing resists is also an option. Exotic arms.

Radiant Solar is good but more fine tuned when deploying but still helps. It's nice more support is being added to the lineup of options for hunters.

Damage wise yes, Arc 3.0 is wonderful or Solar Blade Barrage with Shards of Galanor (solar BB kills replenish super energy up to 50% max). Along with mass orb creation and wells to increase weapon and melee dmg (for any subclass) and bam... good to go.

It's too bad more players didn't try harder to make more precision shots. The extra damage alone regardless of overall DPS and weapon would be extraordinarily helpful in all cases.

Get those yellow numbers! Shoot 'em in the face, or on the back, or in the knees!

It really depends on what the team needs, but really as long as you're not using a sustained super you can use what you like if you know your team can pull their weight and it's not Master Mode. Divinity alone should make any bad player put out sufficient damage.

Radiant is nice if there's no WellLock but if there is it's pointless as I don't think it stacks.

I always pick my super based on what role I'm playing in an encounter, if I'm mostly killing adds I do Arc Hunter
