Solar BB does the same damage in less time. Both arc and solar don't have much utility during DPS phase. Well/Bubble will override Radiant, reload buff from solar might be useful when titans forget about the barricade and warlocks about luna, healing grenades can save someone too. Void is nice without Divinity. Stasis can be used for Well generation for Reed users.
Divinity creates crit spot, Tether doesn't, Both apply 30% debuff.
Radiant Solar is good but more fine tuned when deploying but still helps. It's nice more support is being added to the lineup of options for hunters.
Damage wise yes, Arc 3.0 is wonderful or Solar Blade Barrage with Shards of Galanor (solar BB kills replenish super energy up to 50% max). Along with mass orb creation and wells to increase weapon and melee dmg (for any subclass) and bam... good to go.
It's too bad more players didn't try harder to make more precision shots. The extra damage alone regardless of overall DPS and weapon would be extraordinarily helpful in all cases.
Get those yellow numbers! Shoot 'em in the face, or on the back, or in the knees!
Radiant is nice if there's no WellLock but if there is it's pointless as I don't think it stacks.
I always pick my super based on what role I'm playing in an encounter, if I'm mostly killing adds I do Arc Hunter
