Every time i open DIM i have to authorize??!?!?!

Why do I have to go through the authorization process and get a code in my email ETC EVERY SINGLE TIME I OPEN DESTINY ITEM MANAGER. THis is so fing frustrating

I don't have to do that and I didn't find a setting that would enable email verification on DIM.

Is this related to the Steam account? Maybe you should switch to app auth.

Yea everytime i try to open DIM it makes me verify my login or whatever on steam

What browser and does it happen with other websites? Do you use incognito/private mode? Check cookies settings, especially exceptions and any "clear when closed" settings. Delete cookies related to steam, bungie and destinyitemmanager manually if you don't see anything suspicious in settings, Log in on steam store directly (not from bungie pop up window), then bungie and DIM after that. You can just delete all cookies, but you'll have to log in on other websites too in this case.

This is just on chrome and I have not tested on others yet. I just was confused because nothing has changed. Before I took about a 6 month break from destiny I didnt have this problem and im 90% sure nothing changed but Ill check those out. No i dont use incognito or private mode. Where are those settings located? Like the clear when closed? Are those settings in google chrome browser?

I had this problem and it was driving me nuts. In firefox if you hit the little shield button next to the URL on the left hand side of the padlock and toggle "Enhanced tracking protection..." to off, it will fix the issue. Its somewhat similar in all browsers. Interestingly Edge doesnt have this issue but its so bloated it will crash your game once or twice.
