AI players literally won't work because it's inferior to people with communication. And no, dumping AI players into something so you can sit back and relax while the AI is supposed to do everything for you is not how raids work or how they are supposed to work.
Find a team or a clan (Trough whatever means/way) and play it how it's supposed to be.
Luckily for you, a ingame LFG system is coming when light fall drops.. But only if you want to put in the effort.
The difficulty is intrinsic to the experience though, without it Raids would just be boring and yet another mind numbing activity in this game, as it stands Raids are the only really stimulating activity to me.
Imagine the difficulty of VOTD or KF being on the level of VOG. Vault is a better strike, the Duality dungeon is harder than Vault of Glass, as is doing any Grandmaster Nightfall.
You can't quite rework most of the puzzles too in order to make them Solo-possible, due to the abovementioned fact - you can see this fact in Strikes and Public Events and Seasonal Events. They are challenging to do solo or with 2 people, but with 6 people, you instantly steamroll through the content like its nothing, sometimes you dont even need to do anything at all because people carry way too hard.
Now think about KF being solo-able, by changing all the mechanics so they can be done solo. It would be cool and "wow so cool wow much pretty very gud" for solo players but a raid team of 6 first timers who never did any raid and just installed Destiny would World Record the Raid with everyone going flawless and one shotting Oryx.
That or as I said, you need to change the mechanics to take longer. Which means a solo player would have no issue beating the puzzles and encounters, but they would take extremely long... and 6 stacks of people would still rush through them way easier and faster.
Or you could go to LFG and try every role possible in each enounter
