Not getting treasure coordinates from any activities

Not sure what I'm doing wrong, and Bungie are notorious for not explaining the mechanics of Destiny 2 very well, but I'm not getting treasure coordinates from anything. Not sure if there's some box from an obscure checklist that I have yet to check. I've equiped the pirate gear with treasure coordinate perks, and run multiple activites. So far I have zero treasure coordinates. Anyone else having this issue?

I got 350 by doing crucible and gambit matches. Did you progess the season enough to do the katchcrash event and get the treasure map quest thjng? Thats where you spend those coordinates.

Pretty sure I have. I've done the ketchcrash event multiple times. equiped the ketchkiller armor, have the quest in my log to collect map and treasure coordinates. I'm getting the map pieces but still have zero treasure coordinates. Starting to think my game is bugged.
