Vendetta Mission Not Working

It says find a Key but no waypoints and chest wont open. Looked all over youtube and forums and have found nothing. Please Help!

Yes you have to be light level 1360! Says recommended but its mandatory.

I'm the same, I caught today's maintenance (05/24/2022) in the middle of the mission just when I had just gotten the three parts of the chests, and now when I go to the area where you take the mission they don't appear markers and it does not let me open any chest to at least start over, the thing is that I have seen more than one who opened the chests and continued with the mission without any problem

I am light level 1550 and Im not able to open the caches either. Ive tried multiple different things to fix the issue without any success. If anyone finds this out please post. Thanks

First time playing Destiny and this is so frustrating. I have reset my game, left the area, and come back, and now all of the chests are already opened and there are no quest markers. What do I do?

Yeah I came here with the same problem. I have 1399 power too. It's like they want you to buy the expansion right away but I only completed like 3 missions. Let me play a little for free please!

Okay, so this may not be the answer you guys wanna hear, but I actually got past it by just repeatedly abandoning the mission and re driving back over and accepting it again over and over until it worked. Took me like 8-11 tries in a row, but it eventually worked and I was able to get past the mission.
That being said, it may be better to wait for fixes anyways as the strike that comes next in the story has a similar problem and wont show quest markers or unlock the door you need to start it...

Why are you immediately assuming that if something breaks then its because of the platform and not because of an issue affecting users globally?

I had the same issue after multiple restarts, but by going into the Veles Labyrinth lost sector and back out, the objective loaded correctly after 1 try for me. Try that, I guess?

Edit: now blocked on the 4th chest. no way to open it. trying to just keep going in Veles and seeing if that fixes

edit 2: i got blackscreened by "connection issues" (probably game-side, not me), it restarted the chests objective and reset their states, and then the 4th chest worked this time. so... ok. maybe veles enough times would have made it work too though

edit 3: same issue with the arc charges thing not spawning in that area. had to drive back and forth between Forgotten Shore and Mothyards like 4 times to fix it
