"Opulent Key Held" disappearing within 10 seconds of entering the room

I have a key leading to the Pleasure Gardens, next to "Fallen Greatness." As title states, it disappears extremely quickly before I can even find the chest.

Look around. You'll find a collapsed statue of Calus, the chest is right under it.

You can still use the key for the correct chest regardless of the text disappearing on the screen.

The key is put in your inventory. You find the chest whenever you want, but you can only hold one key at a time. Also, the description for the item will have the hint on it too.
