How do I make friends with people?

I just wanna meet some new people and do raids together and do storylines together but I don’t know how.

Bungie has an integrated LFG on their website. I've met most of my destiny friends through there. There's also destiny LFG discord though it is unofficial. There's also the steam LFG forms though I've never used it so I can't vouch for it.

For the bungie one, all you have to do is log into the site through your steam account and you can search for fireteams doing particular activities or create posts yourself.

Destiny 1 was the reason my PS4 friends list was like 200 random people playing Destiny from NeoGAF. It was great to find people to play with and prepare for raids and what not. It really begged for it to be a social game. I have been playing 2 now and I feel locked out of content without a proper party, but i still have a lot of content to go through. Specially since some it matchmakes so its ok.

I would say find a forum you agree with and start from there. Including this I guess. I am no longer on gaf, but i guess there are now Discord servers mentioned and what not.

Easiest way is to find a active and welcoming clan, if it's an active clan then you'll usually play with the same people pretty often. You can also ask around here for people to play with, or get into the LFG discord

Use LFG or got to Bungie.net >> Community >> Fireteam

Be aware that not all player will want to "be friends" and you may come across quite a few lets say ...rotten tomatoes. But the vast majority are decent.

OR The damn game developers COULD just make an IN GAME LFG or I duno, A viable chat lobby... Something that doesn't require people to leave the game to find someone.
