Why can't we buy Stasis fragments?

I didn't play much during Beyond Light, and when I did I didn't find the more grindy objects all that interesting. I've come back during Witchqueen and wanted to try stasis out and see how it plays, but I can't. Unlike with Void 3.0, where I can just go to Ikora and buy all the fragments for glimmer, the stasis fragments are locked to 2 per week, with very grindy quests requiring completion before you're awarded with a token. Have they said anywhere that they'd be changing this to the same method as Void 3.0?

nah, ikora mastered the light and can teach you. darkness is still new frontier

Because stasis came out before the void 3.0 rework, hence why you can't buy them from ikora.. Want stasis fragments, go to the stranger and simply work yourself trough her bounties/quests. It is what it is..

If it makes it any better, fragments unlock for all classes once purchased. You'll still have to do the aspect ones on every character though :(

Because everyone had access to void before the rework, stasis was a dlc subclass and everyone had to unlock it via the dlc planet/quests.

It´s more simple then that, Void is f2p, Stasis is not.
