You know you can get Mountain Top from the Exotic Kiosk don't you?
Just my 2 cents.
Yeah, it's horrifically unbalanced. That's basically why I hate it. Getting one shot from DMT the moment you peek a corner is not fun. Also everyone uses the same 3 guns... it's so unfun.
Like I get some people are saying it's for catalysts and what not but why switch the only other good gamemode out for it. Seems like a massive step backwards to me.
I dunno, I think that argument could be applied the other way around tbh. It's easy to hit one shot, but to actually have to outplay the other person? Nah that's just poor skill amirite...
It annoys me that when I turn a corner it's just insta death, just as I am sure that others don't like that either.
Having higher TTKs means it gives both players a chance at the fight. Even if I get the jump on someone I want the player I am up against to feel like they have a fair chance at winning. Sure it's nice being able to hipfire 1-shot my DMT from across the map but it's cheap and requires no skill at all.
It also makes some weapons completely outmatched like SMGs or Assault Rifles.
If you disagree then that's fine but you can't be serious that you think it's unskilled to have fair 1v1 duels. Those are the fairest fights of all. If you can't win those then... I don't really know what to say. get gud I guess?
Don't get me wrong, being able to hit a shot does require skill, but I think that being able to hit MORE than one shot while putting yourself in an equally challenged fight requires more skill.
Not sure if it'd work in the long run or if people would enjoy it but it'd be interesting to find out.
