I totally feel you on the ornaments. They used to come from little quests, but I guess people complained that those were too hard, and now you have to grind for them. I hope they could at least make it like;
- For the first time you hit Legend reputation on any one of the playlists, you get the weapon,
- For that same playlist activity, you need to hit Legend a second time for the ornament, like it is now,
- But the other activities have the weapon on Legend replaced with their ornament so you only need to hit Legend once for those. Why do we need three copies of a pre-set ritual weapon anyway?
There has definitely been a move away from 'hard' objectives (as anyone who played S4-7 will remember) to grindy ones, so I'll take the odd challenge that's actually challenging.
If you can't complete the challenges, then don't. Life will go on, I assure you.
More specifically, whatever the new activity for the season is; this season it's PsiOps, last season it was the Astral Alignment activity, next season it'll be something different...you know, that stuff.
