Xenology "Extra progress is awarded for more challenging activities" doesn't apply to GMs...
Don't suppose there's a reason for that? Ran GM Lightblade with 2 Clan members, finished it and only 3 / 21 progress was made.
Just a funny little thing we noticed is all...

yeah the things it considers 'challenging activities' is a bit vague, played a bunch of sweaty Trials games one time, apparently they all count as only 1. Guess Trials isn't actually end-game. Could've fooled me XD

I've done multiple things including gambit and it just doesn't progress for some unknown reason, so i won't be grabbing the dmt from xur due to this..

Although the description changed, the function didn't. You need gambit/crucible wins to progress. As for challenging activities, the playlist is limited and specific. I suspect that GM is considered a separate mode. So only nightfalls are in that category.

Just run 21 strikes, maybe 2 to 3 hours at most.

I just speedrun the Lake of Shadows strike, takes about 4-5 mins for each strike if you do it right, so about 1 1/2 - 2 hours

Not anymore unfortunately, none vanguard playlist strikes don't count.

xenology exists to draw more players on low desireability activites like easy nightfalls, strikes, gambit and non iron banner/trials pvp
