Game is stuck on 8 FPS post weekly update

I have been playing this game on my laptop i7 9750H and 1660ti GPU for a year and post weekly update on 19th Apr 2022, game is stuck on 8 FPS irrespective of video settings. Game starts fine with Witch Queen loading screen and when it starts loading that's when I see drop in FPS.
I have deleted game cache, updated GPU drivers and verified game files as well but no luck. Please help!

Same. I am stuck at 30 fps after this damn update. I was playing last night on my laptop and it was working perfectly. I hope they fix it soon.

have you tried changing to fullscreen? windows prioritizes fullscreen apps over anything else running in the background. not the games fault. windows just like that. and if thats the problem then you need to fix windows settings. the game doesnt control that.

Yes, I always run the games on full screen. I have disabled integrated gpu so it selects my 1660ti yet not luck. Reinstalled the game, changed some windows settings. Just hate it when such things happen.
