Why is PVP so bad lately?

Hopped onto PVP lately and it's so inconsistent.
Either you stomp them or get stomped and there's always at least one guy who teabags.

What happened to PVP?

Literally my last game I had a guy start bagging me so I thought "Ok, it's just good fun, I'll get him back next time." then their whole team gets in a huff and starts singling me out in the game?

Yo chill it's a casual game we're all here to enjoy the experience.

Going back on the inconsistency... I can have one game where literally my whole team wipes every round and we lose horrifically then the next one will be a 5-0 win.

Get your matchmaking in order Bungie!!!

(I get it's primarily a PVE game but even that's a joke as a lot of it needs a fireteam. Not all of my friends play this game Bungie!!! Let alone the time investment.)

Towards the end of last season, PvP was in a great state. Bungie said they were moving towards a gunplay focused PvP, and then completely threw that out the window with Void3.0. We're right back to ability spam central and it's worse than ever.

dont forget the busted asf hunter build spam you see in trials now with duskfield FEELS amazing to have a duskfield thrown at you then one tapped by erinas or hawkmoon

I never played a PvP that was as toxic as this. It's not really fun like it use to be in terms of gameplay and you still have to get guardian kills to unlock catlysts which seems like a way Bungie tries to force people to play this crappy mode. Honestly you can tell if the match is set in the first 2 minutes of a match, if your team has 15 and they have 35-60 then just leave. Don't even stick it out just leave, in fact tell your team to leave. it seems ♥♥♥♥♥♥ but it actually works if everyone on the losing team leaves, because then they can stop wasting time on an obvious lost and the winning team still wins. Everyone wins except pvp sweats who just want to shoot lowlights. So keep leaving till you find a decent even match or you are the team stomper

I will say the scorched canon mode is funner (since it's less serious) and momentum control is a hit or miss.

But it's never going to happen. D2 is basically COD in space and that's how Bungie likes it. And we all know Bungie never changes their minds on ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ anything. This is why I'll always go to Halo Infinite for good PVP.

We already got perfect ttk for this game. It's called PRIMARY ammo type weapons. And no one likes the special ammo meta.

Yeah tbh the more I think about it, as much as I love snipers and shotguns, specials are part of the problem.

Would like a mode where it's just primaries, nothing else. Hell, maybe even removing armour stats too to completely level the playing field. Would be an interesting test, that's for sure.

That's why I gave up on PvP, one month before Witch Queen came out. The realisation of my favourite game/gamemode (pvp) will never be fully focused on balanced or gunplay, and will always be a special-weapon and ability minigame has crushed me. Whoever thinks KD matters in Destiny 2 PvP doesn't know that someone can sit in the back of the map as Warlock, Scout rifle, and a Rift.

Even then, sometimes It'll still take a week or even a month..That's when it's a large issue.. I take alot of breaks, and whenever I feel like I'm in the mood for it, I come back and play for a few weeks. Best part is, some of the drip content will finally be out to keep me in the game for a bit.

my local forum and many ppl in my social said . Its have 2 kind of ppl in pvp room . first ppl is use hc aimbot keep 2 tab every moveing thing and Second ppl is use normal weapon and get there for play 3 stage per a week for they pinacle thing.

and sure..

Second group ppl will upset . When they get in a hack stage is they hacking enough to made server abnormal and that stage is not count as cradit.

so .. Hammy ... you better made every single pvp stage count as cradit. cheer ... seriously .
