The Theory About the Grave Being "Ours"
If bungie hits me with another "Objective: Survive", I'm losing it again

What do you think about the Corridors of Time quest?

EDIT: > SPOILERS (kinda): Well, overall I'm pretty disappointed. I'm proud of our community for banding together and working through something this massive, but Bastion wasn't worth the wait. The damage around the shield is too little to be considered good, the clip size is very small, and the overall damage potential is pretty bad. I will say, however, that it seems to be pretty powerful in PvP at least. But that's just from my first little bit playing, hopefully we get something better on the 28th, I'm personally hoping for an exotic sword. A new one would be nice, but I'd love to see the return of one of the elemental exotic trio from D1!

The map could have been done a little better, it honestly just feels tedious now. Nothing to solve, just running the symbol every now and then to see if you have something new to send

Otherwise the lore implications could be pretty interesting, feels like a proper way to really piss off the darkness.

"You see, I control the flower game-
what are you doing?
get back in there
wtf dude stop"

Watched one Youtube vid, thought sod that for a game of soldiers, if the reward is worth running about like a headless chicken for more than some lore and a banner, I might do it when I have nothing better to do.

Well, hopefully its an exotic. There is a sword on the grave that many theorize to be future our's, that we somehow died with. Some still think its going to be the gjallarhorn. Those people make me hurt inside. Others thing it will be the vex mythoclast making a return, as its well, vex.

Still, I think we are getting a new exotic most likely, would be weird not to. And once the path is finished, we can just do a quick run to grab it, do whatever lies at the end, and reap the rewards

Love the look of the Vex fusion rifle, so yeah once its known if it was that id do the run.

I dont use the exotic swords I already own but might get around to seeing if a build was viable to one of them.

The rocket looks good but again I use machine guns more oftern than not.

The rocket launcher is super, super unlikely. There is no real reason for it to be there that I can think of, yet people still cling onto the hope that it is the reward

So far the most boring quest ever. Running around and going through doors and corridors. Doing 20 of them was mind numbing.

Regardless, kudos for the community for joining forces to solve this.

The people making the map finished it and did the quest and the reward is... another quest that is 100% the data mined quest for the Bastion Exotic we already know is a thing slated for the 28th
what a bummer

Is the bastion at least... good?

Lol at the people thinking the main protagonist has an end, he will continue to supply bungie with money for years!!

Its an exotic kinetic fusion rifle that shoots a 3 slug burst where a small ammount of it's damage bypasses shields.

Other than it being the only kinetic fusion rifle in the game (meaning you can run double fusion rifles) doesnt look like it would be worth taking the exotic slot.

I would say definitely not for PvE, not anywhere I can find, at least. It can one-shot people from a certain distance in crucible, but that's the only good use I've found so far.

Disappointment aside, I need someone to explain to me how this quest actually went.

So we go in the Infinite Forest, and through a series of corridors, we find a future where supposedly we die. Go to Saint-14, and he's like "that's rad. By the way, here's a seemingly unrelated quest about signals and stuff". We go kill some random Fallen gambler who had apparently killed other guardians (but surely not us, I mean, we're still here), then for some reason some other Fallen give us a hint about a grave, that again, can't be ours? And then we go kill some other dude and we get a weapon out of it?

I mean, I'll admit that I wasn't really following all the quest lore. But I'm not sure what went on here. Did we complete an unrelated quest for Saint-14 and the future we saw is still going to happen? Or did we really prevent our own anti-climatic death at the hands of some Scorn miniboss? Or was it the Fallen miniboss? I'm lost here.

I...think you might be right, which is the worst part. Unless this guy turns into aksis or something, he isn't much of a threat
