MM is connection based, so it's kinda sucks, but even I who is really bad at PvP, I really enjoying it for some reason.

for you to do pvp in this game you need to build up. Gotta farm those quickdraw weaps + mods + full resilience + stasis stuff (in some cases)

And that takes time. And you gonna get matched against 4 year players which gonna have better gear than you.

im gonna TL;DR the video real quick:
PvP matchmaking is bad because all the casual players left the pvp pool and now its people going full win mode stacking with other sweaty players to win, or just people who have no idea whats going on.
and then he says theres something they are doing, where its like a custom games thing? i wasnt really paying attention

pvp in d2 is generally just bad imo.
I get why people enjoy it, but it's more frustrating then its worth usually. Supers especially in 6v6 are annoying as hell, and they ruin the flow of the entire match once the first one gets popped.
It's tolerable sometimes but usually it's just stupid. It's the most casual pvp experience in gaming and it's being ruined by sweats lol

I dont play PvE, I dont like MMO PvE I think it is boring - I prefer to get a surge of adrenaline in PvP instead. I really enjoy 6x6 games, they "should" be chaotic and brutal.

But in Destiny 2 it looks like crap. Look DestinyTracker and have fun with bizarre matchmaking system. People full Diamond/Legend tier over 3 K/D playing against bronze/silver tier < 0,8 K/D players - the matchmaking is connection based, its nearly impossible a fair game here: stomp or get stomped.

I'm a kind of masochist to still playing this ♥♥♥♥ solo.

This is very true, Im plat 3 in control and look at the games sometimes and see golds matched in and whatnot, they are beyond lost and just get ruined. Its not a fun experience for alot of people. The matchmaking is ass, and the game is plagued by whole 6 man teams just walking through solo queued lower ranks. Not to mention meta weapons....

it's not *just* connection based
You see 3kda matched with 0.1 kda IN THEIR TEAM is Bungie trying to make those lobbies "fair". The better you are, the worse your teammates and the harder you have to try in order to win, while your teammates get stomped by players who are better than them.

I'm keeping being matched against people who are not even in my continent. I think that, at least on pc, it would be better to stay away from crucible. Maybe with the release of the new dlc things will improve a little. For now the population being very low, the already horrible netcode system and the completely broken matchmaking is a lethal combination. On Xbox, at least, is quite playable even though the crossplay has been a nightmare since the release of the current season. Overall the pvp experience could be way better but sadly it seems that Bungie doesn't care too much about it.

The maps are pretty bad in design. Whereas most multiplayer games out there have different sized maps, Destiny 2 maps all seem to be close quarter. Not much fun!
