freelance is also bad for trials because.... well because ♥♥♥♥ you, get rekt by clans no matter what xD
id like to see a better matchmaking and a permanent freelance option, but it seems like bungo wants to please their elitepvpers.
im pretty bad at pvp, but i want tje trailseq, because of the looks and so im forced to die trough that ♥♥♥♥ against flawless clans.
i understand that this is the super duper pvp elite mode, but since they give armor and weapons for this mode exclusively they should at least give it a proper mm and a solo option.
It's flawed from the basic concept of the mode
And you'll find them at your team xD
That's the problem.
The point that you even get this far, shows Bungie that it is a success.
And no, I am not defending Bungie, matchmaking in PvP is flawed in probably every way possible, not only for trials.
Trials is on a win-based card system, sort of a loose approximation of a tournament system. The goal is to win 7 matches in a row without a loss getting added to your card to "go flawless". As such, the game prioritizes you against other people with same number of wins on their cards , or at least attempting an average. And just like in a tournament bracket, there's no "Elo" rating. If the person you get paired against is leagues better than you, you will more than likely lose. The point is that you put the time and effort in to becoming good enough at the game that it doesn't matter who you get paired with, you have a significant chance of winning.
Trials used to be no-matchmaking, but Bungie wanted to open it up to more people, so now anybody can queue, and anybody get get Trials engrams, but not everybody has an equal chance of going Flawless, and for some people it will be completely impossible because they just aren't good enough to make it happen.
I've played solo on previous week. And i've got 5-6 wins.
And then i've got 2 newbies in my party (low rank and triumphs).
And 3 fckng nolifers on enemy team.
And it's not the only one case. I've got smthng like 5 cases, that was the same.
The game is really fck me up all the time.
Destiny 2 and basketball are two completely different things.
It is a win-based card system, The first and last are similar because you'll likely be meeting up with clans starting a card, and the last is clans finishing a card, You have absolutely no idea what your talking about and I assume by this you do not play trials often.
Are you serious?
I have enough experience in playing with randoms.
And I can clearly say, that PVP balance is broken or doesn't exist at all.
I've got flawless only when I've found const. party.
For you could understand, on previous week on saturday, i've played around 100 matches on solo mode.
6 times i've almost got flawless. But on 6-7 match i've got newbies in team, or some suspecious players on enemy team, that totaly wipe out all the team in a seconds.
And it's not the game, where you can easily kill all the enemy team alone by "pew pew".
If your teammates died, you are 1 vs 3. And you'll got pushed hard and killed.
This compare is not correct at all.
You can be best basketball player in your village school, but if you want to compare it with D2, you must play on tournament VS real pro basketballist, "just for fun", over and over again.
Untill you'll drop the idea to play basketball.
Yeah, maybe you'll find some team, where you can win one round.
But in total, you'll be smashed, over and over.
