Destiny 2

Windows 11
I've recently got a new PC and it runs on windows 11, I believe Destiny 2 is only compatible up until Windows 10. When I right-click on the Destiny 2 to get properties it doesn't have a tab for compatibility like some other games so I am not really sure how to get it to run correctly.

Has anyone else had this issue before and can give me some pointers to resolve?
Thanks

I don't understand why people jump ship to an operating system less than at least a year old. Its just asking for problems in one way or another.
With that said, can't you just run it normally?

It should run just fine. I've been on w11 since its release and I haven't had any issue launching D2 or any other game.
Hi there!

I can speak from personal experience that I run Windows 11 and have not had any issues running Destiny 2 or any other game.

That being said, I would highly advise reviewing your hardware and related drivers and ensure that everything is up to date and compatible.

Well this is my processor,
AMD Ryzen™ 7 5800H Processor (8 Cores / 16 Threads, 3.20 GHz, up to 4.40 GHz with Max Boost, 4 MB Cache L2 / 16 MB Cache L3)
RAM: 16 GB Soldered DDR4 3200MHz
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce® RTX™ 3050 4GB GDDR6
Screen: (2560x1600) 120Hz

Computer set to run in game optimised mode

I would hope my hardware is good enough, if tried downgrading graphics options in D2, but it still crashes when trying to launch on a world. I though i updated my drivers but will check again.

I just saw that it doesnt specify it is compat with W10 and some below so was looking for a quick fix, so thanks to you and glue sniffer for confirming that W11 should be a non-issue
Please follow the steps outlined below to provide an accurate system report. Please do not follow these steps while Destiny 2 is running.

1. Restart your machine.
2. When you log in, please click on the Windows icon, then type dxdiag. If typed correctly, only one command should appear. Please click it. (If you need to enter the credentials of an administrator of the PC, please do so).
3. Allow the tool to run. A green bar should progress on the bottom portion of the window. If you receive any dialogue boxes as it progresses, please address them accordingly.
4. Once the tool is completed, please click on the "Save All Information" button. Save the resulting text file in an easy to find location, such as your Desktop. Then, close the tool.
5. Open the text file you just created and copy all of text to your clipboard by selecting all of it (Ctrl+A) and copying it (Ctrl +C OR rightclick and click Copy). Then, close the file.
6. Go to pastebin.com
7. In the text box below, paste all of the text in the box.
8. If you would like to make your system specs hidden, you can change the Paste Exposure to Unlisted. This will hide it from the Public section of the site but still allow people to view your Paste. Then, click the Create New Paste button.
