marmot error code

i just decided to come back after 2 seasons, ive done a decent amount of research. tried uninstalling and re-installing, removing battle eye before validating files etc etc is there a legit way to fix this for a computer noob

so again today i verified files and the game still didnt work.... i uninstalled again went into steam files and deleted the remaining files and downloaded again so far so good

yeah I've played D2 for 2 years going on 3 and it started doing this about a week or 2 ago it stops for a day or 2 and comes back I verify the files doesnt show anything wrong and I boot the game up with no issues then a few more days and same cycle no issues on verification launch it and its fine for a while its really strange

Yep happened to me as well. It's intermittent though, so extra annoying and often crashes near the end of a grind-y task.

I have (unsuccessfully) tried;
verifying files multiple times - always OK,
updating nvidia driver,
turning off shader cache in both video driver and steam options,
deleting and re-installing Battleye.

Continues to crash though

I can't help but think it's something to do with Battleye misidentifying some windows/steam files.

It's really annoying, and although I was all set to buy Witch Queen, I think I'll hold off if it's still this buggy.
