Why is friendly fire active in Dares Of Eternity?

I have been running the mission and I kept randomly dying and I'm like "wtf is going on how am I "Killed by the architects" when I'm in a safe spot?". Apparently when you fight the Vex and have to take the shields down with the (beam thing - something something cranum?) other players can basically "trace rifle" you to death. Why??

True it is lol, but dam can it be annoying sometimes getting paired with someone or a crew that spends that entire portion just melting the team.

Friendly fire isn't active, it's a bug with the vex craniums.

If you grab it and can kill your teammates with it that's friendly fire isn't it? So as long as it's in hand one could say friendly fire is active?

It's not supposed to kill teammates so it's a bug. It's also annoying especially when you have the bounties where you cannot die.

They also need to turn off player collision because of people using the new sword to toss people into walls.

I've been killing people with the healing grenade before the first jump, since the healing grenade let's you take fall damage.. seeing people launch themselves up the air against that spinning plateau and then straight up die is hilarious.

No, that's a bug. Friendly fire would be using anything to kill teammates.

Duh it's A bug, but the bug is the capability of friendly fire. Friendly fire is turned off in this game but upon grabbing the Craniums friendly fire is activated allowing players to kill teammates.... Why am I even replying...
