Hot take about Stasis supers for "Stasis super kills" objectives not actually working
Bungie should fix them so that when I use my Glacial Quake, and do that massive AOE smash to, ya know, add-clear...It actually counts all 20+ kills of the enemies rather than the two or three I ACTUALLY punched.

Do you know how tedious it is to get 70 kills with Titan stasis super for those stupid fragment quests? Very. (And according to a hunter friend, it's the same for Silence and Squall, which is surprising to me. Is Warlock fine or do they suffer on those objectives too?)

Just dang, something I wish was fixed however long ago when Stasis first came out.

It's a super kills, not necessarily stasis super.

It is, I've already tested it; If I use anything that isn't stasis, it won't count it as far as my attempts have shown.

(Also, the objectives I had this time did specifically say "Stasis super kills". Maybe it's supposed to count any otherwise, but it doesn't seem to do so based on my attempts. Either bugged or intended, but who knows really)

Oh right, that one. I don't remember how it is calculated.

Is that PvP or Gambit version? They take forever compared to Strike version, especially after ability changes.

The game considers direct hits only as super damage and most stasis supers kill with shatter damage, so technically it works fine. I don't think they have a work-around for this, outside of changing to any super kills

Honestly, since I main titan, it feels like they're all equally slow as hell, personally. It still takes me like 20 strikes to even get halfway, lmao.

In this case, it was referring to the Strikes version, BUT the same is true for the gambit version. Only the direct ice punch left click for Behemoth's super counts as a kill, the shatters do not (for some reason).

Some pretty cruddy coding, honestly. Here's hoping that whatever the next power we get is, it's not given the same issues, eh?

the catalyst of the aegir's scepter also doesn't count shatter kills. only kills with the laser beam counts. I guess this is the same case? But looking at how shatter from grenades count as grenade kills, I honestly have no idea

Honestly, even just making it so that your fragment quests are shared across all characters would be a god-send of a change. You need stasis super kills? Log in to my Warlock; Melee kills? There's my hunter. Shatter kills? Titan has big aoes on super, here we go

It'd be so much better that way. I really, genuinely hope they've taken complaints and feedback like this in mind when they do void 3.0, because if it's that same time-gated crap to get fragments and just isn't fun to grind out stupid or class specific hard objectives (Void melee ability kills for hunters, anyone?), then it really just won't be enjoyable at all.

Another nice change would be not locking you into a specific game mode (crucible, strikes, gambit) in order to make your progress. If I could just wander the open world and do stuff at my own pace instead of focusing hard on it, that'd be sooo much nicer.
