Any tricks/tips to trigger the lightning round in Dares of Eternity?

I got it once when I joined a session that was at the last encounter already and haven't gotten it a single time with my group ever since. I'd like to know if anyone else got it and what they did/notice during the run to trigger the round.

I'm guessing it's a point threshold. I've only had it trigger once and it was on a run with a random group where we did exceptionally well in all of the encounters.

I was hoping it wasn't that as my group did a Legend run in 10 mins and 14 seconds with 30k+ points along with a platinum clear and that wasn't enough to trigger the round.
