halo grenade

in the trailer for the 30th anni pack at around the 0:10 second mark, they're throwing a halo like grenade and even grenade jump off of it, anyone know what that is and how to get it?

Yep, like ArmorLock said, the halo nade is tied to the Halo Magnum sidearm, which is a special ammo sidearm. The catalyst can be obtained at Xur's rank up rewards.

kinda sad that it's a special ammo weapon but kinda get it since it's a strong gun

I believe the idea is to pair it with the Battle Rifle, hence why it's a special weapon. Forunner in kinetic, battle rifle in energy.

ngl i agree, but at least i can just double special with 1 heavy build
