Shattered Throne, Dul Incaru cleansing plate not resetting?

Can anyone tell me why I'm not allowed more than 3 phases with Dul Incaru? It seems like after my second damage phase with them the plate never comes back to cleanse the Finite Thought effect. If I'm missing something, I'm missing something, but something doesn't feel right sitting and waiting for the crystal to pop up, destroying it and killing the Psions only for the plate to stay inert.

It shoudn't take more than 2 phases, what do you use for damage and do you kill all Knights and get x3 stacks of DMG buff?

Any LFR or Rapid-Fire Fusion with Particle is enough. Golden Gun with Celestial and Thunder Crash with Cuirass will 1HKO her too.

I eventually figured it out, killing all 3 of the Knights for the strongest buff possible and 1 phasing but still, why doesn't the plate reset/why are we only allowed 3 phases max?
