still at least the taken champs are only in lost sectors for the most parts....
You mean there is ONE exotic with overload built into it.
Which divinity outside of raids can be very.... very meh overall as you would do a lot more damage bringing in a better exotic overall.
you could also use the grenade mod, so long as you directly hit the champ with the grenade they'll get stunned. (admittedly sometimes after teleporting into cover anyway).
that said the only actual weapon mod we have is basically non functional. taken overload champs will kill you via retaliation swarms before you stun them, fallen captains just teleport away. half the time it doesnt even stun the enemy anyway.

I am well aware of that, I personally don't have complaints on the overload champions for the season despite the usual crap they been doing for years now when they are fallen based and just teleport.
I was just stating that there is not really exotic alternatives other than Divinity which what the other user implied there are more.
Unlock unstoppable and barrier which both have 3 exotic choices, overload we only have one, and that one picking it up means you are losing out on damage as a whole since 2 guardians with power weapons + divinity wouldn't exceed 3 guardians with power weapons since you have to be devoted to using divinity the entire dps phase or you run out of ammo. Not to mention the damage itself for higher content is very lacking, you only really ever see divinity in raid settings these days since 1 divinity + 5 guardians will be actually worthwhile.
