new player .do i need to buy previous expansions or just this one ?
do i need to buy each previous expansion or i can just buy the latest one ? sorry i just bought my first pc and reading some things about this game is confusing me

The Witch Queen, I recommend the Deluxe Edition if you wanna play the next 12 months, has it all. Wait for a sale for the rest. You got lots of stuff to do with the latest DLC.

Each expansion pack is a separate purchase, you do not get any of the old content with The Witch Queen.

To get 'everything' you'd need 'Witch Queen Deluxe + 30th Anniversary' + 'The Legacy Collection'.

But I wouldn't recommend trying to get everything right now. Play the short f2p campaign, join the Lfg Discord to experience the F2P Dungeon and Raid, then get one of the expansion packs if you're enjoying the gameplay.

make sure when you do raids you pre plan your party some of them don't let you group up in the que

Don't feel embarrassed, Destiny 2 is a very confusing game to drop into. You get the hang of it pretty quickly.

This pretty much covers the basics.

If you want to get your head around the story/lore etc there are some good youtube vids that cover it well.
