Destiny 2 fps on a 1650

I have been getting around 60 fps in destiny 2 on the lowest settings and I think I should be getting around 120 fps. I have a R5 3400G CPU and am running windows 11. I got the same amount of fps on windows 10 too. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

unfortunately since activision and vicarious vision dont work with bungie anymore Destiny 2 has been going down in terms of performance and optimization in the last couple of years. Back in Year 1 when D2 came out on PC on battle.net the first time it was so well optimized that you could literally play it on a freaking toaster. What i want to say is that it doesnt matter what GPU and CPU you have, this game is just not well optimized and will limit your fps anyways. Ive got a 3080 with an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X which should easily be enough to get a few hundred FPS for a game from 2017 but i too have FPS drops from 120 to 80 and on some planets like the EDZ its even worse with approx. 80 - 90 FPS.

That explains a lot. Do you think they will fix that issue in destiny 3 if that happens?

Doubt that d3 will happen and that they would improve performance

I can confirm this although I've started playing late October 2019 at the end of Season of Undying but my current PC ( Intel® Core™2 Quad Q8300 2.50 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce® GTX 750 Ti 2 GB, RAM 8GB DDR2, Win. 7 Pro ). I could assure you these specifications were well enough to run this before untill Season of Lost.

D3 is going to happen anytime soon, they already said that there's more to come after this light vs darkness saga is finished (Which should be in either the final shape or lightfall).

I wouldnt say that D3 comes soon when we talk about atleast 2 or 3 more years ^^

Wich one? I play with 3090 and 12900K and have 200 fps all ultra settings 1440P

I don't think there actually is a GPU memory leak going on right now. Everyone thinks the game is just badly optimized but now I'm not so sure sense your getting 200 fps and Wilhelm Schüttelspeer is getting 80-90 fps. Your CPU is better but with his CPU and GPU he still should be getting around 100-200 fps. Maybe is has to do with some of your settings or something. I really don't know. Also Wilhelm Schüttelspeer you will get better fps if you are in windowed fullscreen.

I was getting 4k 60-80 fps with a 2080 and 10700k OC'd to 5.1 ghz
after witch queen it sometimes drops to 50 but maximum fps remains at 80 , in last twab they mentioned there are some issues with the game like with UI lag etc , they'll likely fix it in upcoming patch. would be kinda disappointing if they dont fix the occasional stuttering tho. seeing these drops only in throne world and wellspring.
