Why is the Windows Key disabled?

I frequently use [Windows] + [D] or [Windows + [1-0] to switch windows
and now the only thing you can do with windows key is [Windows]+ [G]

why can't I get to the desktop or anywhere else?
why do I have to rely on [Alt] + [Tab]?

I hadn't noticed, I have a key to disable it, maybe so people don't accidentally hit it and end up at the desktop while in the middle of a fire fight?

there is a setting menu for a reason, those that have problems with it can enable, those that don't can disable
imagine if there was no option for key bindings

if you are willing, play in windowed mode. unless you care about fps or buffers.

It's because you are in Fullscreen. Switch to Windowed Fullscreen.

You asked WHY, not for an explanation of why they did not add an option. You do know it takes more code to add and option than to hard code it, right? The VAST majority of people don't do what you do so alt + tab is fine for them, and me. Maybe try the above suggestions and adapt, it's easier than getting Bungie to add your option.

Mine does too, but I don't use that, I play using a G13, so not going to bump that pesky key.

well I wish I new there were new defaults, I built a new pc and I just didn't look there cause its far faster by comparison, it seems to work now thank you!

that reminds me, I never found out the difference between Borderless Windowed and Windowed FullScreen. they seem about the same.
