Completed Exorcism Dreaming City Activity 2022-02-15 does not progress quest to the next step

Hello,

I have joined the new 6p quest that supposed to connect the story to the Witch Queen DLC, but after completing the instance, the cut scene abruptly stops, and the quest progress still stuck on step-1.

Tried it two times with the same exact result.

If someone skips the cutscene, it will skip it for the whole fireteam. Just watch it on youtube.

As for mission, yes, it seems there are issues with the quest. I managed to complete it after 3 tries.

i had abit similar experience with cut scene stopping but i managed to speak with mara at helm and progress the quest , hope yours gets fixed good luck!

The first one, i was dropped in the middle of the activity and it was bugged already. While the 2nd one started at the very beginning. The guys with me knew what they were doin apparently and we completed it with no hitches whatsoever. No skipping.

I had no bug and saw all cutscenes

No one skipped the cutscene for my first run, I received the loot but saw no quest progression. The second run went exactly the same, the full cutscene played, but this time the quest did advance to step 2.

Mine was 2 runs, full cutscene, and no progress. The 3rd however, someone skipped and the quest progressed. Thank you rando for that.

I did on 2nd run, got like 4 perks weapon as reward

I've had the same problem. Run it twice, both times it seemed to run through fine, went through the cutscene fine. I don 't think it ends abruptly, it ends with Savvy saying, "Thank you." and then seems to fade out on that note as intended, unless there's more. But it has not progressed the quest line yet. I've closed out of D2 and rebooted and I'm about to go try again. Will update if 3rd time is a charm.

Well, the 3rd time it seems like someone cancelled the cutscene at the end right away, it twitched a few times, switching between the cutscene, the room we were in, and the map, before finally going blank and I got the notification that the quest had moved on to the next step. Very weird, but maybe cancelling the cutscene is the way, OR you have to complete it, go through the cutscene, then complete it again and cancel the cutscene right away. That *seems* to be what happened to me. Worth a try if you have the time. Good luck! I sure hope the Witch Queen isn't going to be this bad... but I'm betting htere will be many patches for the first few months after release...
