ATTENTION Contacting Destiny 2 Servers
I recently bought the DLCs when it went on sale and I was honestly enjoying it for the first few days as there were no major issues with the game. However for the past 2-3 days its been unplayable for me as every 2-5 mins ill get a "ATTENTION Contacting Destiny 2 Servers" and sometimes the game will kick me out with the error code weasel or anteater. I've tried the steps listed below

1) verifying the integrity of game files
2) power cycling my router
3) reinstalling the game

additional information
im using a 100mbps connection (wireless, too far to pull an ethernet cable)
none of my other games have this issue thanks in advance.

forgot to mention i have a moderate NAT type

I have same issue, since my motherboard has some issues I must use wireless connection, I didnt have any issues in other games but recently I have this issue in d2 and sometimes it kicks me out of game mostly in NF.
I think it's a server problem which we always had these issues with bungie

dedicated direct fibre connection with my own hardware all cabled here. As good as it's possible to get without being directly connected to the isp inside a central. These errors happen from time to time anyway, but mostly when playing gambit and being kicked to orbit, because somebody is doing naughy stuff to get their free wins.

If you play on wifi you should increase packets per second which would help local latency a bit. Do not open any ports for the game, please dont. It will just create more problems. Moderate nat is fine.

Does it kick everyone?
I'm sure this happens in Gambit but what's the reason for nf?
There's no reason to use ♥♥♥♥♥♥ actions in nf for a simple win

ive since turned on upnp and at least for now after 20 mins of continuous play it seems to be working fine.

I found out it is because of mobile app, disconnect it from your bungie account it should solve the problem
