How 'Uncommon' are Exotic drops in Nightfall Strikes (Hero)?

It says they're 'uncommon' drops but i've played 12 nightfall strikes straight with 7 of them being over 100k in score, and i didn't get a single one. I just rarely get rare drops and that's it.

Score have nothing to do with, play on master or do legendary lost sectors if you want to farm exotics.

That depend really. In my experience I am luckier doing nightfall on heroic, hero and still get 3 exotics in couple games when on legendary lost sectors. I'm getting the same exotic helm in the last 3 seasons no matter what body piece is rewarded. Is always helmet. Very bugged on my game.

Probably pretty low, if you want an actually good chance of getting exotics it's either master or grandmaster, anything lower than that you're just rolling 5 different dices and hoping they're all 6, or you can play a solo lost sector depending on the exotic you're missing which have around 10-20% chance of dropping a exotic depending on difficulty

Just continue, if you want something, sooner or later it will drop.

Well i mean i'm grinding for that rank 16 in vanguard for the ascendant shard, so grinding nightfall is what i chose to do, because of that chance. I was just wondering how uncommon it is, because in my opinion doing 10+ raids and not getting one is in "rare" territory and not "uncommon".

OP, it's just RNG. There is no pattern.

I just think of the rarity being whatever the highest one on the list is. Like, if it says that exotics are uncommon on hero and something else is rare, then they switch.
