Network Problems Not letting me play, not allowing me on any planet to play..
Before anyone comes out and says this is my Internet, or my network card, or my settings in my computer or my security settings in windows or my router or my ISP......
NO ITS NOT.... ok, with that out of the way.

I can open up the game, and I can go into the character page within the game.
I can look at all my characters and their perspective equipment.
But as soon as I want to go to the Moon Mission, or any other planet mission,
The game does not want to do it.

It then constantly pops up a screen that says....

ATTENTION: Hang On! You're experiencing networking issues.
Reestablishing your connection to Destiny 2.

This goes on for a very very long time, well past 30 minutes or so.
And it will never connect or continue the game for me to actually play it.

Its NOT my networking or anything on my end, because I can play ANY other Multiplayer game on steam of any kind and immediately start playing them without a single problem.
This ONLY happens with Destiny 2.

I can't ever seem to be able to have fun with this game, because of this particular issue thats been a thorn in my ass for a very long time can't seem to stop.

So, developers of Destiny.... can you fix this problem please..?!?

.Thanks

So do standard troubleshooting for network issues such as restarting your router and your modem, making sure the game is running as administrator, check your firewall settings, and confirm that people with your ISP are not having any issues in your area right now.

I've DONE network issues check and so did my ISP
I did restart my computer (3) times
I did restarted my router (3) times and my modem,
I also checked the integrity of the game files with Steam.
I NEVER EVER had to run a Steam game in administrative mode EVER and I own over 600 games,
I checked my firewall settings and allowed Destiny-2,
and confirm that no people at all, with my ISP are not having any issues in my area right now or in the last 3 days as per my ISP information has told me.
As they have done a line & connectivity check.
I updated windows to the latest update, I also updated my graphics driver to the latest update.

again, It is not on my end....

Settings -> Gameplay -> Network data, it should say your NAT type, is it open, moderate, or strict? Just spitballing ideas.

Where? in Steam? because I tried to follow the path, and there is no Gameplay after settings.

Had just the same problem. It seems there is a patch had to be downloaded first and installed thats all.

Do a disk cleaner session and clear temporary internet files. shouldn't take more than 2 min, in case it does, you probably have a LOT of garbage laying around that needs a cleaning.

just type "clean" in windows research bar, and select your C drive or whatever your windows is installed on first. You can do other drives after as bonus but those should be almost empty anyway

Hi there!

Moderate NAT could lead to potential connectivity issues.

Moderate NAT limits the number of players you can connect to (only Moderate or Open NAT players). In some situations, such as social spaces, you will be trying to connect to up to 24 other players, all who may have Open NAT. However, it can only take a one or two that is not compatible to generate these errors.

I recommend reviewing the Advanced Troubleshooting Guide, linked below, for more information on NAT and steps you can take to resolve it. The goal is to have an Open NAT.

Just got the same issue on my end, removed from game world, first time I thought it was a glitch while trying to load into tower, second time loaded me into tower and i've sat around messing with guns and stuff in my vault for about 5 minutes and then it kicked me out saying removed from game world.

Can you please provide your NAT as reported by the game? You should have also received an error code. That can help determine what the issue is as well!

Long story short I've had these issues for awhile not just with this game, my Nat Type suddenly shifted on my wifi and my friend and I haven't been able to play on the same wifi connection.

So I just figured out that switching to my second 5G connection from my router opened my Nat Type, and I have no idea how to fix the other one. Thats just wild to me.

Can you please clarify as to what you have already done? What is your current network setup? Are you wired or wireless?
