My Adrenaline Junkie roll changed to Demo

My Adrenaline Junkie roll on my Arc Logic changed to Demo sometime in the last few days. Has anyone else noticed something similar?

Only time I've seen a perk changed like how you're saying is when Cold Front was reissued, and rolled Dragonfly. Which was changed to Swashbuckler.

It was acquired after they reprized it but before they added Demo back to the loot pool so it's not a mistake, and I've only ever kept 1 roll. It's exactly the same roll just traded Adrenaline for Demo. I've never seen this happen to any of my other rolls ever outside of Bungie changing the perk ( i.e. coldfront).

I don't recall them listing such a change, unless I'm missing a patch note somewhere. In any case, I'd argue it's good fortune since Adrenaline Junkie is a crappy perk atm.

It's not Bad, just not braindead damage like Rampage, or Kill Clip. You have to build for it currently, but Bungie's planning on changing how it works, so keep a few Junkie weapons around for that :)
It's also a pretty good damage buff, 10%/20%/35%

There wasn't a posted change about it. I assume it's a weird rare bug, and was just curious if someone had something similar happen. I do agree AJ is currently trash and there's no reason to use it especially if there's another dmg perk in the same slot that's easier to proc and you don't have to build for. I was keeping it in case they ever changed AJ, which they are and I hope is something more interesting, like "weapon kills increase grenade dmg" or something similar. There are already plenty of better weapon dmg perks.

And you're not talking about the change to AJ right? Cuz thats not what I'm talking about.

After Dmg announced on twitter to save AJ rolls weapons around 2 weeks ago , i saved some weapons with that rolls and they're still AJ. nothing changed yet.

I had 3 relentless strikes/whirlwind falling guillotines change to some burst guard BS. 3. One was masterworked and it got changed. Wtf.
