Is it worth to buy Legendary Edition?

Hey , beside Bungie's decision to delate most of the content of the game in next year
Is still worth to buy it and get into it?
Played Warframe and love it , but the game doesnt have a PVP system like Destiny does.
I want to get into Destiny because of Raids and PVP aspet of the game.

Best raid comes with forsaken, which will be cheaper when the story goes free to play in december, if you want to wait until then, you can.

As for PVP, it really depends on which class you're playing on if you need DLC or not. Exotics are tied to dlc, so you need the dlc to get the exotics from it, as well as Stasis and middle tree classes. What class are you playing?

Didnt touch the game in almost 2 years , wanted to get into it this time
I dont really care about classes (loved that one with the fire revolver,3 shots and you do one-shot kills with it)
Wanted to know if will not go dead when the content will go cut.

In my opinion NO. Since forsaken is going to be free starting from December and getting only Beyond Light + 1 season is not worth it. If you want to experience all the seasons for this expansion (Seasons 12-15) better to buy the Deluxe Edition and get Shadowkeep separately if you want to experience that story (even though there is not much to it now).

At the end its upto you as to how much you want to spend and whether you want to invest in the story of this game even though half the game is already vaulted and more going into the vault making the story of the game a cluster fk for new people who start the game.

Forsaken isn't completely free, only the story is going free, as it is going to be vaulted after. Last Wish, as well as some other stuff will still be paid for, just cheaper.

From my knowledge, the reason they are cutting content is because
1. It's really bloating the size of the game.
2. The code is really bad because it was rushed while they were under activision.

I don't think Shadowkeep will be going (not sure), and everything past that will be staying for sure (Beyond Light, Witch Queen, Lightfall, and Final Shape)

Pretty sure they will announce next year that Shadowkeep will be vaulted for Lightfall DLC based on them removing every DLC thats 3 years old.

I'd say go for it, 50% discount is a pretty decent disc for the ammount of content you get out of it, although Forsaken story and the tangled shore is getting vaulted, you still have around 4 months to experience it, and even then the dreaming city will still be untouched and you'll still be able to play Last Wish and things like Shattered Throne which are without a doubt the best things out of that dlc. If what you want out of Destiny are the raid content, it's 100% worth it as of now

Hi there!

It is worth noting that the Forsaken campaign will be free in December. There will be other components to it, such as the Last Wish raid and the Shattered Throne dungeon, which will still require the Forsaken pack when it launches in December.
