I prefer story over these stupid seasons to be honest.....it is why i bought Destiny 2....the story campaigns....that they thoroughly gutted....stupid morons.
The coming expansion is their last chance for me to be honest, if its just the same old crap....a cutscene and then do 'control' or 'elimination' type modes over and over again, the game will be dead to me.
It's indeed frustrating.
I think the monetization of those upcoming dungeons is simply not necessary. But it shows in which direction it goes. I wait and see what happens next year with The Witch Queen, then I will decide to continue or not.
The story is better than its ever been and this year its been really good. If you were arguing with the structure then you'd have a fair point but you're not, you're saying that its been 'gutted'.
You're losing the tangled shore with Witch Queen but gaining a new, fresh area. I dont see the problem. If they removed the dreaming city as well then yeah that would suck but thats not the case, is it?
You've confessed to having a silly amount of play time from the game so you've had more than enough value from the product that you've purchased. However, this isnt an airport man, you don't have to announce your departure, more so you'll be back for Witch Queen and every content update after because you're invested. You just want to vent and you've gone about it all wrong.
Cause yes, the Highest grossing and most successful Final Fantasy game in the entire franchise totally has a smaller budget then Bungie does for Destiny.
Absolutely HILARIOUS!
Dude, destiny 2 budget was 500mill just to launch the franchise, marketing, create the platform, tools and engine from which to launch several destiny games. Which means the game actually costed way more to develop than the intial 500mill.
FFXiV total budget was a whooping 400mill which is confirmed, and they actually have dedicated servers even though they had less money to work with.
Heavensward expansion costed a mere 17million to make, and we know forsaken for a fact costed a whole lot more to produce.
FFXiV never got the budget it deserve, until recently, because with the success of shadowbringers due to the migration of WoW players, Square Enix finally aknowledged the sucess of that MMO and decided to give them all budget they need to make the game the best its possible, that will not be shown in Endwalkers because they announced it when we already are near the release date for the expansion, but the bigger budget will definetely show in the expansions after it...
Funny that you state Destiny's Budget, something that has never been stated in any way as Bungie isn't a public company.
Not as funny as you saying FF14 has a small budget despite being the highest grossing game in the entire franchise.
That was absolutely HILARIOUS!
Your lack of research makes you ignorant not smart, ignorance my friend isn't bliss. Any small search in the internet into these two games budget will give you the data i just showed you, since you cant even do that much and prefer to remain high and mighty, ill leave you on that note, i'm not wasting my time on you since there is no information out there to back your claims... You can either keep on living on your dreamworld hoping not to wake up, or you can get back into the real world and accept facts.
