my friend and I have the family mode to share games, he have the legendary edition, can I use their dlc's from that edition on my account?

I believe it doesn't work, because DLC cannot be shared between accounts that both have the game in their libraries

"DLC cannot be shared to other accounts through Family Sharing, as per Valve's Steam Family Sharing eligibility"

This is bcos the base game is f2p. DLC can be shared with family if base game is paid.

That may be true for Destiny 2, but not in general. I have access to the DLCs of Stellaris through family sharing.

I have 2 accounts on Steam and Blizzard. Bungie, Rockstar, Ubisoft, and some EA titles will not game share with myself. I would have to pay twice and my 2 puters are 3 feet apart on same hub natch. Except for said Devs and Pubs up to this point I can play all loaded titles on both account without purchase. This is my second account

Family sharing DLCs doesn't work for this game so don't even bother trying it. In order to experience the DLCs, you have to buy it. Don't use your friends account on your computer as that might get that account banned.
