Does progressive save in "Voice On The Other Side"?

I died to an electric gate near one of the end areas and the spawn is too close to it and now I am stuck in the death loop. I had left because I have to go to sleep and am looking for closure on if it does or doesn't.

There is no checkpoint system for presage mission. If you leave it, you have to restart the entire thing from scratch. Its better if you do it in a fireteam or look in LFG discord.
