The Vow Catalyst in Season of Dawn

Hi guys
In Season of Undying I was able to get x3 boost with the season pass.
But it seems right now the x3 boost is gone. Is anyone else having the same issue?

Also I realised we don't need to equip Symmetry to earn progress in the catalyst.
Does The Vow work the same way too? Sometimes I forgot to swap to the vow before the mission ends.

The boost is gone and you don't need to equip eriana's vow to progress the quest anymore.

There is a new catalyst boot in the new premium season pass track, exactly the same as previous (actually better, I think it is X4 instead of X3) at rank 22 if I remember correctly.

You no longer need to have Symmetry or Eriana's Vow equipped to progress their catalysts. In fact, I don't think they need to be in your inventory at all.

However, I don't know if this season's boost affects Eriana's catalyst.

I've gotten more progress on The Vow with Eriana's in the vault since new season started than I did during all of last season. Always hated trying to swap it in and out each time I ran strikes with a new character.

So I can conclude that we don't need to equip Symmetry or Vow to earn progress. Also the current season's boost affects only Symmetry and does not affect the Vow.

It's so painful to earn progress for the Vow without the boost :(

Are your sure the boost doesnt affect the vow? It says only pvp contents counts towards progression, not any strikes.

Meh,atm I am grinding gambit prime(2 progress per game) for some quests meanwhile the catalyst quest sits in the back burner, already done 142/400 from 40 (last season progress) in a week of play time.

Long story short: just play the game at your own pace(at least for the vow catalyst,no clue if the Symmetry catalyst is worth grinding for)

well the symetry catalyst is not worth the trouble you gain 5 extra stacks possible for a total of 20. if it gave say you kill one enemy you get 2 stacks it would have been excelent, in pvp i cant get it to 5x stacks so for 20 stacks is to hard. It shines in pve but still 15 is more than sufficient if it would charge faster

well its not like you need to "grind" for the symmetry cat, you will get it eventually anyway just doing the regular stuff >P

The catalyst boost for Season of Dawn only says that it multiplies progression earned within the season pass exotic weapon catalyst quest, and the Eriana's Vow catalyst quest says that progression is made in strikes, Crucible, Gambit and Prime.
