The Vow and symmetry Remastered fast way to complete?

At season of Undying the Vow quest are using % which 1 match u play, u get 1 point advancement, since they march into season of Dawn it change to normal counting point to 400??!!!! it takes so much event to clear it, it takes forever even the weapon is ♥♥♥♥ if u use for pvp with full impact and range it just need 2 hit on opponent even headshoot on any crucible include momentum control. is there any idea how to clear this quest fast? seems like doing strikes that u choose from map didn't feed this quest a point. The weapon feels like a waste, when u start crucible and gambit and stuff it only gives 2 ammo and u cant use any other exotic weapon.

pretty sure they changed it so you don't need the gun for it to count towards the quest

I haven't really tested it properly but i noticed my vow quest was progressed more then it should of been, and unless i read it wrong it doesn't specify that you need to use the weapon anymore

Last season it required 400 points too, but it showed % instead. You gained more progress only if you had season pass that increased progress for each activity by x3 or so. This time season pass owners have those upgrades too.

In addition, you don't need the gun to be equipped this time

thats probably what i noticed, it changed from % to actual points and i didn't pay enough attention

it doesn't specify and yes, it does progress 1% per activity (sundial doesn't count for the vow quest)

2 tap invaders on gambit prine with ease, sustainable DPS that puts it on par with cata IB when fighting primevals and it completely ignores elemental shields, how is that ♥♥♥♥? It's not worth grinding hundreds of strikes for but it's definitely a good weapon with the catalyst.

Indeed, you do not need it equipped like last season's weapon. Which is a godsend.
