Destiny's not saving Video Settings
I play at the highest settings due to my comp's make up, and at Fullscreen Windowed so I can flip-flop between applications. However, since the update, I have to go back into the settings and reset everything each time.

Anyone know what's going on?

they broke the video settings with the last update somehow so we have to wait until they fix it

yup, seems like it.
I have to switch to Fullscreen Windowed, and do stuff like put AF to 16x (it keeps reverting to 8x), remove motion blur, and tweak other settings every time I load up the game.
It takes just a few seconds, but...yeah, it's broken.

Hi guys,

Sorry to necro the thread but I solved the issue:

Make sure Destiny 2 is NOT running
Search in windows files for the %appdata% folder
Go to Roaming\Bungie\DestinyPC\prefs (so for me personally, the full address is C:\Users\<my username>\AppData\Roaming\Bungie\DestinyPC\prefs)
Open the cvars files (all of them, I had 3, my partner had 2) and change the following setting to '2' - mine was set to '3':
<cvar name="window_mode" value="2" />
Save and close. Do this for all cvars files (.xml, .OLD and .TEMP, whichever you have).
Now right click and set each file to Read Only.

You should now be able to launch the game in Windowed Fullscreen and it will keep that setting if you close the game. Read Only means the game shouldn't be able to overwrite your changes.

Hope that helped!
