Where can I get masterwork weapons?

I need masterwork weapons. Im new to this game. How can I get one?

Rarely you can get one from drops or quests I think. But you can masterwork any legendary (purple) weapon by leveling it to 10 in the weapons’ “details”. Edited for bad info

You can get random masterworked drops from any activity or chest even tho the chances are little (Only came by 2 of them so far from random drops).. If you want to masterwork a weapon yourself, you will have to grind out enhancement cores to tier your weapon up from 1 to 10 (Which is about 17 cores )

His weapons suck though. But Op could get enhancement cores from dismantling them.

not to mention, you do need to do those prophecy weapons verses tho if you want a ghost and the telesto catalyst finished....

if you have a bunch of destination materials like dusklight shards, you can turn them in and have a small chance to get a masterworked gun, or a gun that's almost masterworked and just pay 10 enhancement shards

I have legendary mida mini tool submachine gun and i don't see no upgrade. I only see weapon perks and weapon mods. There is another slot and have vanguard masterwork and crucible masterwork. I can't equip any of them because I don't have enough enhancement core and lengendary shards. How to find them? Please help out your noob fella here.

Do you know where to find ascendant shards and prims for armor as well? Right now I need legendary shards and enhancement core for one of my legendary weapons.

You get legendary shards by dismantling items/gear. You can also buy them with resources from spider in the tangled shore (Which doesn't requires forsaken to do, can't really remember if you needed forsaken DLC to exchange resources for materials at him)
