Arbalest does 497 damage on headshots, max resiliance is not going to help you against that.
Say you have max Res but only like 900~920 Light Level vs players at 960+? You're gonna be tore to shreds regardless of your stats (and do next to no dmg back to them).
Atleast from what I understand it's a big factor, but not much of a pvper.
Got to make each bullet counts aim wisely.
Hahahahahah, you're kidding right? You do realize snipers have some of the most intense bullet magnetism in the game, right? Also, when a new round begins, if you win, you keep all the green ammo you picked up+the scavenger perk gives more, so you can start with 10-14 shots...
Extremely wrong. If I remember correctly it straight up says level advantages disabled when you select any crucible mode. The only modes that level advantage matter are gambit/prime and Iron Banner.
As for OP, snipers are precision weapons with limited ammo. If the player can land the headshot they are rewarded with a kill, otherwise a miss, or usually even a body shot, mean nothing. You know it says how much resilience does when you hover it, you can see for yourself how relatively small the percentage increase is. It can make the difference between getting killed or just surviving, but you can't "tank" or anything silly like that.
Titans have Overshield abilities. Health on melee kill. Titan wall. and a bunch of other stuff that makes them more durable. You pair that with the higher resilience and it does make a difference. The issue is the TTK from basically hunters hunters and more hunters often blows through your defense a little to quickly..
When its a sniper rifle or a arbalest or whatever i feel like the TTK is non existant. Im not sure why PvP ever includes 1 shot kills.. Its dumb and annoying and with the bullet magnetism the way it is its a damn joke.
I ran around with a bow today aiming well over enemies heads and got head shot after head shot.
