New Quest Activity
Ever since the launch of season of dawn, I keep getting the New Quest Activity Available notification over, and over, and over again. Is there a fix to this?

Stupid question, but have you done the opening segment of the Sundial mission yet? I'm not sure if non-F2P players get access to anything Sundial this time around like they did with Vex Offensive, but you should probably have the opening to the quest chain. I'd imagine once you do it, it might nuke that message you keep getting.

If you've done it, then I have no idea sorry man.

There's also a bug with Osiris where it doesn't show that he has any quests but the quests show up after you talk to him a couple of times. Maybe visit him again and talk to him a few times to see if he has anything for you.

To answer your proposed solution, I tried that, and its still going on. I've validated my files, cleared my download cache through steam, with no avail.

In addition, Destiny doesn't retain settings that have been applied, i.e. you change it to Windowed Fullscreen instead of Fullscreen. It changes to Windowed Fullscreen for the duration that you play, but when you relaunch the game, it will completley disregard that you have set it to Windowed Fullscreen, and start back on Fullscreen, this goes with all the texture settings and everything else in those categories.

If anybody has any idea as to any ideas on how to fix this, or maybe get this thread to the attention of a Bungie Dev, that would be awesome. I am sorry if you guys are experiencing these issues as well, it really sucks, but they'll get fixed eventually, it's just a matter of when solutions are found.

Check the pinned thread on the settings, it's a known issue.

So I figured it out to be on one character only, my warlock. My Hunter + Titan both do not have the New Quest Activity Available bug, so it seems like it could just be on different characters. Does anyone know if its a specific quest that is causing it?

Yes! This worked for fixing this notification issue. When I had loaded into the EDZ at first, I got roughly 5 of them stacked on each other. After completing the Intro to the EDZ, the notifications stopped.

DarkKatalyst, completing first step of "Discover the EDZ" (banner->cache->lost sector) really helps - thanks!
