How can i be so sure of an event being rigged? They have to create content based on the "final results" and nobody is going to do create stuff in the last day of an event when the final results kick in, so everything has to be done before that day. Destiny 2 is no different, they might have made all 3 outcomes in the game already since it is all text/voice based and very little changes to the tower, but the game needs to be adjusted to the proper finale and they f*cked it up for the hunters this year. The text for them winning was leaked last week and titans fireworks were always there on the spot, they didn't even bother to fix that one.
So people taking this entire thing too seriously need to understand their place. None of it matters. I'm a titan main and i banked medals in all 3 classes as i played with them all to get weekly stuff done. That's how much i care about rigged events with virtually no significant outcome.
that 'leak' that was spread around last week wasn't even real and didn't even match the text in game during the closing ceremony, take off your tinfoil hat
For last years Guardian games they used numbers from the Iron Banner before it and got the numbers for active guardians, hence the weighting of the points/medals/whatever for last year so titan and warlock medals were worth roughly double what hunters were worth.
No idea what the numbers for this year were, the most common reference to this year is the 39% for hunters and 31% for warlocks & titans.
To me it seems Titans seen the hunters on a roll for the 1st week and gave up, kinda like what the hunters appeared to have done last year, I know I didn't bother (hunter main).
I know some of the titan streamers were trying to get the titans to not compete so they would get lots of the cumulative 10% bonus to their score so that they could steam roll and stop any chance of hunters or warlocks winning.
Warlocks seemed to take advantage of the 10% bonuses and hunters got a few bonuses which allowed them to get the final days they needed to secure the win. first 2 weekends were hunter wins and hunters won 11/21 days, so they won the event.
This is my understanding, I might be wrong or missing something, I hope this helps.
Yeah hunters are by far the most played class.
Followed by Titans and lastly by Warlocks. Warlocks had like 20% only of the total population. lol. Hunters about 60% afaik. The stats are based on amount of time played on a weekly basis I believe.
That is why hunters lost first guardian games. Bungie made an algorithm that would punish Hunters because of their sheer numbers. But this year they were too lenient on the algorithm and thus why they won easily.
