Noob question 2 : about the prophecy dungeon

So I was looking for the ikelos shotgun drop from the dungeon but shocked from lack of matchmaking. Only solo mode dungeon ? When i entered the dungeon no waiting for other player no matchmaking just run through the gate-alone. Killing the enemy alone still possible but i dont have weapon strong enuff to finish two fallen knight at the same time (the decay time for mote is pretty short) When i done with second knight my previous mote already gone. It is normal ? Do wee need friends to finish this dungeon ? From youtube video most dungeon walkthorugh was done with three player ; it is solo or do we need to go manually inside the dungeon with our friends ? Recommended level to finish prophecy dungeon ?

It's literally free and you can use it in browser if you don't want to download the client. Most people use Discord anyway and no one use in game chat

Ah yes because everyone is socially comfortable. Lets forget about all the reasons why the guy/gal might not want to socialise and just assume hes a 'smoothbrain'.

As for OP, you can solo it. I've done it solo for the triumph related to it but in a group is always better. Steam has a sub forum where you can look for a group and most of the time they dont require you to talk. Just have a vague idea what you're doing. I'd offer to run you through it but I barely play right now as its the end of the season. Maybe send me an add for the future and we'll see whats what.

Just download the Destiny 2 Companion app, you don't need discord. All you have to do in the app is just go to Fireteam, find what you want to do and use /join.

It's a lot easier to use the fireteam finder via their website rather than the mobile app. You can just copy and paste the id that way, instead of typing the whole thing out and potentially making mistakes.
