People buy game keys with stolen credit cards.
The developers have to refund the person whose credit card was used fraudulently.
The developers are unable to invalidate the Steam keys after they have been generated, so the criminals can still sell them.
This has literally put some small indie devs out of business.
They know this and they do nothing to prevent it.
Regardless, sales occur frequently enough, and looking at steam db, it looks like shadowkeep can go down to $8 and beyond light down to $25.
$32~ into a game where I will probably spend more hours than that enjoyed seems reasonable enough to me, again, since it was about 5 years ago when i bought the game, and it is almost completely different mechanically now since then.
Back when the game first came on steam, there were no rolls, and the endgame had one raid that was very, very stale after one time going through it. The variance of rolls and the extra content does make it "feel" different enough, and the price of 3 baconator combos from wendy's doesn't seem that bad in that regard, even if I do wish there was still a way to try out all the leviathan raids and other stuff.
\Beyond Light is the last expansion and only got as a low as 33% off.
I will never buy a season pass though. All those are, are battle passes, and the content that they wall up isn't worth it imo. I much prefer to get new quests, story missions, strikes, and a raid (whenever I can get people together or join a group for those), than having one new timed activity available for a couple of months.
it includes every expansion and a season.
It is a battlepass, and I don't like battlepasses, so i will opt out of them.
Like the creater of this post I'm getting back into the game, and without the red war campaign I want the dlc, but the idea of paying 40$ for the legendary edition instead of 80$ just sounds so much better.
I don't like the idea of buying keys like from g2a just cuz I'm a little suspicious so I'm only really interested in bunjie sales.
Thx in advance!
