No matchmaking for Vault of Glass raid ?

Raids in this game are complicated to the point of obnoxious. Without communication and pre-planning a group would get nowhere.

VOG is not complicated in any way.....unless you cant count up to 7 it is the easiest out of all of the raids maybe except EOW

Find a Sherpa i can DM you some sherpas if you want i sherpa the few raids that are left sometimes they are fun once you get the hang of them

even if they are as easy as a strike (which they are) the mechanics are enough to make blue berries have a stroke, randoms already have trouble dealing with champions on nf and playing gambit

anyways op, try looking for a clan or looking for sherpa runs on a lfg discord, it's not a hard raid so it shouldn't be too much of a problem for others to teach you

Because from what I've see from videos and talked to people, all the raids have similar mechanics that require timing and coordination, which randoms do not have, at all.

If you think you can successfully and reliably coordinate the Atheon fight with 6 match made blueberries, 4 of whom don’t have mics, 2 of those are chat bugged, and 3 of the 6 have never done it before with 1 of the only 2 people with mics spamming Dubstep instead of talking then you are out of your mind.

Plates? Not hard.
Confluxes? Probably can do it.

Raids are designed to be completed by a coordinated and actively communicating group. It can be the easiest raid in existence but if the core encounters are designed to wipe you if you are not actively communicating with your fire team, matchmaking will never work, and if you think it will, you are demonstrably wrong.

Bungie hates the loners. They think we are too dumb to do the raids without comms. I kinda agree with the oracle pitch ordering though. I don't really enjoy puzzle elements while I fight. We need a menagerie like activity

You cant do the raids without comms and tbh i would not want to raid with someone who cba to LFG i you would just lfg if you knew what you where doing like everyone else

It is possible. There are raid groups that are deaf, or just don't prefer to use a mic. But yea, matchmade raiding just wouldn't work

Lol, people not using a mic are the first ones to get booted. Then come players that join KWTD-Raids but only know how to addclear in each encounter. Then come people who dont do boss damage and wont listen to me when i tell them what gear to use to increase damage.
Since i do that my LFG Raids got a lot less stressfull for me...

And dont even think about flaming me and cry why I am so evil, i wrote "kwtd" raids.
If i do Raids that are not KWTD i am a complete different person because i dont expect everyone to do their positions perfect. :-)

Also one thing i dont get, why do people think KWTD means knowing the encounters? It means knowing every position and know how to adapt in situation where maby one teammate dies instead of just wiping. It knows how to properly use your gear to do damage to bosses or addclear...
